Connect Exact Online once

An administrator connects your Exact Online company with Exact's own sign-in. Choose which administrations (divisions) the gateway may use; everything else stays invisible. Tokens are refreshed automatically and stored encrypted.

A normalized REST API

/exact/data-bridge/api/v1/divisions/{division}/accounts, contacts, items, sales-invoices and gl-accounts return consistent JSON with readable field names. Filter on allowlisted fields (filter[name][startswith]=Ac), sort and limit — the gateway translates this into safe Exact queries. The OpenAPI description is generated from the same definitions.

An MCP server for AI assistants

Point Claude, VS Code or any MCP client at the gateway. Each data type becomes a tool; an assistant only sees the tools its permissions allow. Connect with OAuth (sign in, choose the organization and permissions) or with an API key.

Permissions per data type, administration and action

Every API key and every connected app has a permission matrix: data type × read / write / delete × administrations. Presets cover the common cases ("read everything", "full access"). Keys can be restricted to IP addresses and expire.

Optional caching

Turn on the cache to answer repeated reads from an encrypted copy for a few minutes to a day — faster responses and fewer calls against Exact's rate limits. Off by default.

Teams, audit log and usage

Invite colleagues as owner, administrator, member or viewer. The audit log shows sign-ins, permission changes, connections and every denied request. Usage per day and data type shows what your integrations do.
